People assume happiness comes from losing weight. But for me, it came from healing my relationship with myself. Yes, I’ve lost weight. But that’s not the full story. What really changed… was how I think. How I show up for myself. How I care for my body instead of punishing it. How I move for strength, not shame. How I eat to feel good, not just to lose pounds. How I see health as something personal, not just physical. So no… I’m not happier because I lost weight. I’m happier because my mindset changed—and my body finally reflects that growth. Every version of me since 2020 came with a new hair color and a new lesson. Starting with the year I shaved it all off. In 2020, I hit one of the hardest moments of my life… and I shaved my head.
