Instead, you can have MUCH MORE food volume for less calories IF you choose the right sources The cookie tastes great and sure, you can probably squeeze it into your diet if you saved up calories for it, but here’s why that’s a bad idea: 👉🏼It’s highly processed and will give you an energy spike and crash - no sustained energy 👉🏼It’s not filling or satiating - you’ll be hungry soon after because there’s basically no nutritional value 👉🏼This can be a trigger for some people (me). Do you really think an adult that is exercising and is expected to perform well at work and at home for their family should be running off 1000 calories per day? No, the answer is no YES you will lose fat eating 1000 calories per day… and youll lose it fast But the side and after effects are absolutely not worth it 👉🏼You’re going to crush your energy 👉🏼You’re going to lose muscle mass 👉🏼You’re not going to sleep well 👉🏼You’re going to throw your hormones out of whack because you’re not getting enough healthy fats, nutrients and sleep 👉🏼Your metabolism will slow down, a lot 👉🏼You’re going to feel like shit Is that enough yet, or did you want me to keep going? 👉🏼Okay last one, And when you’ve finally lost a bunch of weight doing something so stupid, you are now at very high risk of putting it all back on because what you were doing was not sustainable. If you want to avoid all that BS and actually get sustainable results and be able to maintain your new weight and body, eat 15-25% below your maintenance calories Yes, you will lose weight slower, but you’ll be more consistent, your body won’t hate you, you’ll be able to perform well in the gym and at work, grow muscle or at least maintain what you have, and your chances of keeping it off after the diet will be much higher.
