“Be fruitful and multiply.” That was God’s command from the beginning (Genesis 1:28). It wasn’t just about having children — it was about walking in faith, building families, stewarding creation, and trusting that the same God who gave the command would also provide what’s needed to carry it out. But today, many hesitate. Fear. Finances. The uncertainty of the world. People hear “be fruitful” and think, How could I? What if there’s not enough? What if I can’t do it? We limit ourselves based on what we can see, forgetting what He can do. But God didn’t say “be fruitful and multiply if it makes sense financially.” He didn’t say “multiply as long as the world is stable.” He said it — and He meant it. And His provision always follows His promises. If God calls you to it, He will see you through it. He is still Jehovah Jireh — the God who provides. Trust Him. Walk in obedience. Watch Him work. People have asked me, “What if your husband leaves you?” “What if you can’t afford more kids?” “What if things get hard?” But when God said, “Be fruitful and multiply,” He didn’t follow it with a list of what ifs — He followed it with provision. I don’t walk in fear — I walk in faith. Because the same God who calls me is the same God who provides for me. My life has been much busier than usual and I’ve been studying and doing projects for school,being a mom and showing up to my babies school events and being a wife to my amazing husband. On my birthday/ mother’s day I was in my room for most of the day trying to complete a project and my children decided to celebrate me and Trinity and Malikhai led the festivities. I honestly wanted just a relaxing day to myself because I just feel like I’m always doing something or going somewhere. But my babies invited my friends to come over and celebrate with me. I was shocked, and felt super loved. Thank you to my beautiful children I love y’all sooo much. Thank you to my amazing husband for holding me down. Thank you to my sista/friends for loving on me.
