take a breath, take a beat and just slow down this week ☁️ I am tremendously guilty of constantly going, going, going until I’m extremely burnt out. This weekend after my scare with Nala I hit an absolute breaking point and it felt like everything I had under the surface just bubbled up and exploded. You know what I did the next morning, I said well… I should probably run a half marathon because I missed mine. Do you know how ridiculous that is!!! I’d spent the day before in tears, not fueling myself properly, most likely dehydrating by the second and I thought I needed to get up and run a half marathon… I came to my senses and just decided to take Nala on a walk in Malibu and oh my goodness did I need it!! Just a nice slow, peaceful, present walk. Sometimes the BEST thing you can do is slow down. #melrobbins #slowdown #lifeinyour20s
